A box of Goodies came home
from Grandma Florene's
when we moved her this past Labor Day.
A Box of tresures
that prompted a session of Creative Haven.
Some bling bling rhinestones-
that didn't seem like what we saw her wear.
And some vintage lace pieces.
So as we crafted and layered
and gilded and fringed.
Using IDEALS magazines
and old hymn pages.
We added in a Jerseyville, Illinois post card
Where son-in-law Joshua spent some growing up years.
And dangles of rhinestone and vintage buttons.
And proclaimed the GOOD NEWS of this
with copies of 100 year old postcards.
Added tissue paper fluffs of flowers we made.
And a girl can never have too much tulle.
Some Dollar Store stars, burlap bits,
and Silver chenille strands.
Because Love Came Down at Christmas.
Love all lovely, love divine.
