Creative Haven open studio time this week.
Some copies of vintage Valentines.
Some doilies, ribbon, medallions,
and tissue paper flowers.
Covered some rectangles of foam board
with tissue paper and added a wire hanger.
All sorts of FINDINGS
to choose from for inspiration.
Old hymn pages,
crinkle ribbon and tulle.
Some began with a heart shape.
(just cardboard)
Added a pocket, tulle ruffle,
covered a chenille stem
with ribbon for a hanger.
Adding a fabric flower accent.
some Valentine die cuts.
We love because He first loved us.

The greatest of these is LOVE
Medallions and heart doily,
on felt ribbon,
scrapbook sticker letters,
and ribbon and tulle tassels.
An embellished tag

The neighborhood "littles"
came over in the afternoon
for crafting-
stamping, strip circle garlands,
with doodads galore.
And this is the "FINDINGS"
for the grownup
playtime.
All in all.
