Ezekiel 40:4
In three parts this summons tells
the prophet the importance
of the communication about to be made.
Sometimes directions
are very simple and direct.
Though these words
were for the new temple,
I wonder what might happen
if we took them to heart today.
When life is difficult,
let us bless the Lord that our salvation
does not depend on meeting the difficulty.
Look and see the gift of God's Word,
and set your heart.
Ezekiel is reminded to give
close attention in order to tell the people.
