Sometimes the words just change
how you see things-
when it feels like you are wandering
in the Judean wilderness.
Or they may add to the miracle
that you are currently seeing.
Or perhaps suggest
a different perspective,
applaud a new beginning,
or remind me of a daily challenge.
Sometimes it is a combined effort
that brings comfort
in a season of gray skies.
Thankful today for the gift of words
and image that
bring such delight.
