Spring in St. Louis

Lovely phlox drapes a hillside on the campus
of Concordia Seminary in St Louis, Missouri.

Delicate blossoms punctuate corners of brown mulch.

It is apparent that there has been a culture
of plant care and grooming on campus.
Daffodils herald spring as they wave in the breeze.
Fragile pink dogwood blossoms
dance on waving gray branches.
Ruffled petals of tree peonies bend low
to the ground with the heavy blooms.

Clumps of slender green
are dotted with white highlights.
Wild hyacinths.
Solomon's seal has such a
pretty variegated leaf.
We are finishing up a decade of visits
to this Seminary campus for Call Services
 for pastors and vicarage assignments.
I doubt that I will be back here again.
Pat Maier and myself were blessed to visit with two
of our Visual Faith Ministry Family Life coaches while here.
Meghan Flanick and Rachel Hinz blessed us with a visit
by graciously meeting us on campus.
St. Louis you have been fun to visit
It was great to catch up with them
and hear what God is doing in their lives.
May the Lord bless you in your faithful journeys!

Here and About - St Louis

Fun with friends in
St. Charles, Missouri.
Beautiful historic town and great
to stop in a favorite spot to shop and say hello to
Courtney at Fig and Sparrow.
Bonboni Mercantile is always a favorite-
great gifts and style.

Lunch at OLIO with for Israeli food
and a November day to eat outside.
A glorious day to walk
in the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Brilliant contrasts.
Gorgeous foliage in the Climatron.

God's beautiful colors painting the landscape.
Thank you Lord, for such beauty in our world.

Here and About- St. Louis- Part 3

A morning stroll through the
Missouri Botanical Gardens.
Cloudy, overcast, and cool.
 Soft light that allowed
 the colors to shine through.
 The delightful mix of colors-
in mass and singly.
 The enclosed tropical dome-
the Climatron-
 brings vivid colors and blooms.
And sometimes it is just the contrast
in foliage that brings visual delight.
A boost of spring to move us along
in the blooming season.

Can't go wrong with that!
As we finished out our day
we met the lovely shop owner
of PAISLEY boutique.
She just happened to graduate
from the same high school as myself-
Norwell High School in Ossian, Indiana.
