2024 wrap up

Some things just didn't get to the blog this year.

But, wanted to post a couple highlights.

 Our trip to Canada in September was a beautiful trip.

We ended our trip with a train trip 

through the Canadian Rockies.

Just stunning wildness and beauty.

A very fun experience. 

As this year comes to a close we give thanks 

for God's goodness in the care and recovery

 of son in law Daniel. 

I haven't written much of this story here, 

but it the central part of our lives for 2024 since Aug 10.

Lord, if it be your will continue 

to restore all senses to Daniel. 

Give them the strength to go through

 the changes and adaptations.

Bring Dan  and Jess closer together

 in their life walk and closer to you.

In all of the events, people and challenges of 2024,

 we give you thanks and praise 

for walking with us on this journey.

Bless our family in 2025.

 

Family Time Loving

A recent event in Ann Arbor, Michigan 

with the Visual Faith® Ministry Team allowed me

 to share some time 

with both a sister and 2 daughters.

I got to visit daughter Laura in her high school art room.

What a fun place to hang out.

Sister Teresa had fun seeing where her niece

 challenges High School Art Students in Saline, MI.

So much fun to be together.

We also stopped in to see daughter Jessica

 in her First Grade Classroom.

The littles find their own entertainment pretty quickly.

Or else they are up to "no good".

Hard to grab the 4 together.

So it is fun when we are slimey,

or doing puzzles together.

(or taking it apart)

Getting ready for a car rumble,

reading books together,

or getting ready to catch leprechauns

It is just too short when our time is together.

What a fun age.

Giving thanks for such a loving family.

 

Christmas 2023

Fun family times at Christmas.

Marble boards, Duck Donuts,

Narnia Night with the fur coats.

Six boy cousins for a sleep over at Papa and Gigi's.

Gadgets and Bots.

Peppa Pig and Bluey.

Mr. Fireman.

Tinker Toy Construction Tools.

Matching outfits, and silly and sweet smiles.

Making Rice Krispie squares with Gigi.

Fun game with cotton balls and a blindfold,

and Papa's new trees that he made for each family.

The Dengrands are making ornaments from dried 

crape myrtle wood.

Missing our middle daughter, Laura,

 who is in Las Vegas this year.

God's blessings on this little family.
