#18 in the Bible Marginalia Series
Keep the Faith
Deuteronomy 4:9
Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself,
lest you forget the things your eyes have seen,
and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.
And teach them to your children and your grandchildren.
So, the reality is.....
I know where the books of the Bible are....
but have a hard time recalling
specific verses when I need them.
So this past summer,
I began the project of adding tabs
to my Bible that highlight favorite key verses for me.
Key words that bring forward a main idea.
It started without a BIG plan
on how this would work out.
AND I lOVE IT.
His Mercy-
1 Chronicles 16:34
Oh, Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Our Refuge
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Unsearchable Things
Jeremiah 33:3
Call to Me, and I will answer you,
and show you great and might things,
which you do not know.
Taking the Bible I have been using
for almost 20 years and continuing
the journey of my life meeting
in His Word.
Tools-
This punch makes the tabs-
used card stock.
This is a McGill file tab punch-
can't seem to find this very one.
But, here is a similar one-

Assorted washi tape makes the thin paper
a bit more sturdy to add the tabs-
with the Tim Holtz- tiny attacher.
This is a fantastic idea! Thank you so much for sharing. I have a list of "go to" verses, but would also appreciate seeing the list of all the verses that you tabbed.
ReplyDeleteHmmm-- @BethSkipper let me see -- may take a bit but that would be great to do-- thanks for the idea
DeleteThank you for your consideration. :-)

Where can I find that puncher to make the labels? Did you use cardstock for the paper?

I do not have a good tab punch. What do you ladies think about using the Avery adhesive (similar to post-it notes) tabs?
DeleteBeth- think that is a great option- anything to make it work for you!!! without having to invest in a tab punch
DeleteBeth- pm me on Facebook
