Advent has arrived slowly- uncurling here and there around the house. Adding the Jesse tree ornaments to our Jesus tree this year- reflecting on the story as the Old Testament joins the new in the continuing story. Treasure the tenderly loved things from generations ago brought out to grace our celebration now How were they used by the families before ours? What celebrations will they grace in generations to come? Thankful for the legacy of His story through the years to be the real gift in our family this Christmas. Next post - a few more photos around the house to connect for the children who will not be able to join us this year.
