On hard days- like 9/11.

 Fourteen years later.

How do we say REJOICE 

in the Lord Always?

 Even this?

Some days- Lord.

Too hard to say.

 But let my every breath whisper it-

 ANYWAY.

In all the tragedy.

 In the mess of life.

In the LOSS.

Because the prize is NOT here.

We press on toward the Goal of the Prize.

The call of God in Christ Jesus.

On days when we can hardly lift our head-

Lord, lift our eyes to you.

The prize.

The hope.

Beyond all that melts our hearts-

in this earthly space.

And by GRACE-

 that is you gift promise.

To each 

and 

every

one of

us.
