Worship into the Week-
Ephesians 5:8-14
Walk in Loveing
The community of Christ's followers are called
to live differently than the culture that surrounds them.
They are to be the example of ethical behavior
and to shine God's love in Jesus
to a fallen and straying world.
There is a world's difference between light and darkness
and wisdom and poor choices.
We tend to move through life with some kind of plan,
set goals and strive to meet them.
Yet, somehow we don't think about it or set goals for our ethical behavior. We can drift along and be swept up by the acceptable behavior of the culture that surrounds us.
It may be so pervasive we do not even see how corrosive
the lifestyle really is on a day to day basis.
Followers of Christ have some universal boundaries
of right and wrong.
God's Word shines bright to light the way,
so we don't become conformed to this world
Don't fall asleep
and find that the world has caused you
to be dead in your faith.
v.15 "Look carefully then how your walk,
not as unwise but wise."
Think we have our marching orders.
