Green Spring Garden Walk

Lilacs in Bloom
Old-Fashioned Bleeding Hearts-Dicentra
Pansies- Viola family
Pansies- stunning colors
Snowball Bush--Viburnum family
Yellow Azalea
and one of the glorious azaleas
 that dot the landscape

A breezy day yesterday but still sunny for a walk at Green Spring Gardens- A Fairfax County public park in Alexandria, Virginia.  Time out with my mother in law- Florene. A marvel in the week after Easter as we collect our thoughts around the mystery of Resurrection. And perhaps don't move far from that thought- the marvel- the gift- the undeserved generosity.
Then we saw it in the walk-

 He didn't have to do that- this bloom or that clumping of petals.

 Each creation -total gift.
 Each gift for me to gather visually in a day of living Eucahristeo.

With thanks- by grace- with joy.

a tiny tap reminder....

"There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands,
There is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one."
 Romans 3: 11-13

and in the bleat of a second-
a reminder of my unworthiness in all things-
and in the blink of an eye-
THE FULLNESS --- THE COMPLETENESS

the open hand reminder of grace to live each day as GIFT.
one open petal at a time.
