root, dry ground,
beauty, desire,
despised, rejected,
sorrows, grief,
hide, despised,
borne griefs,
carried sorrows,
esteemed, stricken,
smitten, afflicted,
pierced transgressions,
crushed iniquities,
chastisement, peace,
wounds healed,
sheep astray,
turned, every one-
and the Lord has laid on him
 the iniquity of us ALL.
