Worship into the Week-
Jeremiah 15:15-21
Things seem pretty challenging for Jeremiah and
he begins a lament and complaint to God.
Though he has held God's Word with joy and delight,
he is living a lonely and isolated life.
He has served the LORD God of Heaven's Armies.
Yet, his suffering continues and he sees the sins
of others all around him.
He doubts God's hand to help
and compares Him to a dried up brook.
God is going to respond to THAT.
Jeremiah is told to stop the doubting and self-pity.
He is told to choose his words well
and be a good influence.
He can be a strong and valuable contributor!
God promises that Jeremiah will be
as strong as a bronze wall
and that He will protect and rescue him.
The Lord sets Jeremiah back on the right track.
The Lord is with him.
