Reconciliation Gift
This gift of restoration of relationships.
Nothing I can do to make things right again.
Compatible with each other-
in family, in our neighborhoods, among nations.
When will harmony reign?
We work for justice and peace and unity.
But,
once again we see that nothing
we do can ever restore
the broken order of the world.
On days when it all seems
like things have fallen apart-
we deep breathe confidence in Christ.
Death, evil and destruction
have already been restored.
It has been made right again.
The presence of Christ Himself.
