In the Garden

You keep him in perfect peace whose                                

                                  mind is stayed on you, 

                                   because he trusts in you.  

                                 Isaiah 26:3

An evening walk in the garden

 is so peaceful.

Daylight is fleeing 

and the work of the day is ending.

Colors are more brilliant and not as

 washed out with the sun's caress.

There are multiple images 

repeated over and over 

of flowerhead and petal.

I am reminded in my "willy-nilly" garden-

that even the small details in God's world

 are planned by the Master Gardener-

the Creator himself.
