Worship into the Week

Isaiah 40:21-31

How is it that people do not 

recognize God's creative power?

God is over the earth and

little creatures run around in their daily lives.

This God manages the chaos.

Look at the heavens to see that God 

has created the very stars and calls them by name.

None are missing.

Everything is accounted for in the universe.

Claimed. Just as God claims Israel.

Then there is the shift to the future.

The Lord recreates and strengthens.

The God that created the world 

can form his people into a new creation.

The people of Israel were tired and

rebuilding Jerusalem was a huge task.

They were being asked to step into a future

that would require more strength

than they could imagine.

God promises his creative work

for tired and weary people

and that brings power and HOPE.

And we will SOAR.
